Recently, the construction of rooftop gardens has been increasing. While plastic plates are often used, we would like to introduce a rooftop garden design that we have devised.

This is the ultimate simple rooftop garden, enclosed by railway sleepers and planted with sand moss. There’s no irrigation system; it relies entirely on rainwater.

The railway ties are arranged in a curved shape, with trees and flowers planted within. The mountains of Ayabe serve as a borrowed landscape. An automatic irrigation system is installed.

Hollow artificial stones were used as curbs, and flowering trees were arranged around them. An automatic watering system is installed.

We used the same hollow artificial stones as in Kyoto Mimoza Village as curbs, and arranged flowering trees and fruit trees.
Birds and butterflies also come here. There is an automatic watering system.
